In 2000, the Management program was launched at the University of Białystok under the then Faculty of Economics. Then in 2007, the Faculty of Economics was transformed into the Faculty of Economics and Management, consequently influencing the expansion of management education and research opportunities. In 2019, the Faculty of Economics and Management was divided into two units, namely, the Faculty of Economics and Finance and the Institute of Management. Finally, by decision of the Rector of University of Bialystok, as of 1 October 2023, the Institute of Management was transformed into the Faculty of Management
At present, the Faculty consists of two Departments: the Department of Strategic Management and the Department of Operational Management. The staff employed in Faculty represent a blend of rich academic and practical experience, as well as extensive experience in collaboration with the socio-economic environment. The staff of the Faculty is relatively small in number, but has extensive research and teaching experience, as well as practical experience gained in enterprises and public institutions, and expert and advisory experience.
The Faculty of Management offers a Bachelor's and Master's degree program in Management, available in both full-time and part-time formats. Postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management, Career Counselling in partnership with the National Forum for Lifelong Guidance Policy are also currently offered.
The Faculty of Management cooperates with two National Key Clusters in Poland: Evoluma Industry Cluster (former Metal Processing Cluster) and Polish Construction Cluster.
