From July 6 to 10, 2026, students from the Faculty of Management at the University of Białystok: Adam Koszycki, Jakub Lubotyński, and Jakub Szmigiel - are participating in a short-term Erasmus+ mobility program at Alexander Moisiu University of Durrës in Albania.
Also participating in the mobility program are Aleksandra Kopko, MA (undertaking a Staff Mobility for Training visit), and Piotr Białas, MA, from the International Cooperation Department.
For the students, the stay at the partner university offers not only a chance to gain new academic experiences but also an opportunity to experience an international educational environment. The mobility program includes meetings with representatives of Alexander Moisiu University of Durrës, presentations on the education system and university operations, and the exchange of experiences with students and staff from various countries. Participants also have the opportunity to learn about Albanian culture, traditions, and the specifics of academic life, while simultaneously developing their intercultural and linguistic competencies.
A key element of the trip is the students' active involvement in activities promoting international cooperation and building a positive image of the partner university. The mobility serves as an excellent opportunity to develop skills for working in an international environment and to establish contacts that could lead to future academic and professional collaboration.
Concurrently, staff members from the University of Białystok are participating in working meetings with representatives of Alexander Moisiu University of Durrës. Discussions focus on exchanging best practices regarding internationalization, the organization of academic mobility, and the development of inter-institutional cooperation. The visit also aims to identify new areas of collaboration, including joint educational and research projects, as well as future initiatives under the Erasmus+ program.
