Sharing best practices

On 13–14 May 2026, Dr Mariusz Citkowski, Vice-Dean for Development and Cooperation at the Faculty of Management, attended the 8th National Scientific and Training Conference for Deans and Vice-Deans, ‘The Multidimensional Nature of the Educational Process – Tasks and Challenges’, held in Toruń and organised by the Institute of Higher Education Law. On the second day of the conference, Dr Mariusz Citkowski led a three-hour training session entitled: “Cooperation with the wider community?! – but who needs it? – on the costs and benefits of practical cohabitation” for Deans and Vice-Deans from Polish universities.

This was an excellent opportunity to inspire other faculties and universities in Poland to forge closer relationships with stakeholders, and to highlight the key factors for success in the management of inter-organisational relations by deans and vice-deans in Poland – drawing on the best practices of the Faculty of Management at the University of Białystok.
